Belgian double barrel SxS shotgun by Joseph Smets, Liege, #6447 and #6448 (two barrel set); high quality Belgian box lock single trigger, auto ejector, raised and tapered non-ventilated rib with English stylestraight stock; fine scroll engraving in floral pattern; first set of barrels are 29-3/4” in length, choked Modified right and Improved Modified left; second set of barrels also 29-3/4” overall choked Cylinder rightand Improved Cylinder left; stock is 14-7/8” to end of rubber butt pad; stock has been cut and lengthened back out; barrels are nicely refinished; bores are good; two fore ends; stock is overall good with normal wear;accompanied by a leather mutton leg style case.
