Beautiful mid-1800s cutlery handled spear point bowie knife, marked on blade “J. Lingard, 89 Peacroft, Sheffield” at the hilt, approx. 11” overall with an approx. 6-1/4” blade in very good to fine condition andaccompanied by a fine leather sheath, likely made in South America. A really nice knife with attractive period sheath and by a well-known maker. Est.: $300-$500.
