Beautiful hand-painted porcelain plaque showing 19th century naval officer in uniform identified as John Pembroke Jones at age 35 born February 28th , 1825 and died May 25th 1910, U. S. N. 1841 to 1861, CSA 1861 to 1865. The plaque measures approximately 2 ½” across center by 3 ¾” in height in gilt over brass frame which would stand on a table but the support is missing and was probably hung on wall with the accompanying silver plated plaque. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
