Beautiful cased pair of modern percussion ’51 Navy revolvers, hand engraved, gold inlaid with raised carved ivory grips with a gold inlaid plaque in one inscribed “Presented to Tony Villegas”; expertly prepared bySilverado Silversmiths of Apple Valley, CA. These guns are in overall excellent condition showing little handling; the workmanship is detailed, the appearance impressive and the pistols’ treatment is done en suite. Thecasing is also in fine condition with maroon interior lining, brass powder flask, brass bullet mould, hardwood cap tin and grouping of cast lead round balls. The cost to replicate this set at today’s rates would beeasily estimated at $3,000 to $4,000. Est.: $1,800-$2,800.
