Ballard Single Shot rifle, Nimschke style engraved with buffalo and stag panel scenes, .32-40 cal., 30” heavy round Rigby barrel (relined), blue finish, checkered stocks with Schutzen style butt plate, Vernier tang sight and adjustable hoodedfront sight, #19174 in overall very good to near fine condition; considerable blue on barrel with some scattered speckling; silvery toning to finely engraved receiver, fine bore, crisp action, top of barrel tapped and fill screwed for scope mountwith rear mount at breech end of barrel; very good to near fine wood displaying some scattered old mars and spots along base that should clean with some TLC.
