TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE. Cal. 12 GA 2 3/4". S# 70G47610. Bbl 25 1/2". A5 manufactured in Belgium by FN and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1970. The left side of the barrel is stamped with Browning Arms Company's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", with the caliber designation stamped across the right. The receiver is stamped "Light Twelve" on the left side above "BROWNING" and a portrait of John Moses Browning. Receiver features light scroll engraving with wavy line engraving along most edges. Metal components exhibit a professionally reapplied blue finish, with the trigger being gold plated. Checkered wood buttstock featuring plastic "FN", "BROWNING" and "AUTOMATIC" marked buttplate, with a checkered wood forend. Wood furniture appears to have been lightly sanded and revarnished at one time. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather case with Browning plaque on exterior, featuring a brown "fur" lining and containing a 29 1/2" barrel. CONDITION: excellent, as refinished, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish overall, with some light pitting present around the serial number on the receiver, as well as some small spots of minute pitting around some of the engraving beneath the finish. Brilliant mirror bores. Wood furniture is excellent overall. Case shows some light exterior wear, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
