Second generation guide outfitter Jordy McAuley is excited to take you into his remote guide territory in northern BC for a spot-and-stalk black bear hunt. After flying from Prince George to the base camp at Fort Grahame with Northern Thunderbird Air, you will enjoy 7 days of black bear and wolf hunting conducted by boat, ATV and truck.
Jordy has guided extensively in BC, Yukon, Alaska and Alberta since 1976, buying Finlay River Outfitters in 2006. You are in good hands for finding a great black bear! If you want to pursue your dream of getting a grizzly, you can upgrade this hunt for a trophy fee of $8,000 US. You also have the option of bringing a third hunter for $3,800 US. Non-hunters are welcome to join for $700 US.
Field preparation of your trophy is included and Finlay River Outfitters will bring your meat and trophy to Prince George for you. Licences, tags, royalties, CITES and HPF are extra. Note that you will need two days of travel and will need to pay for overnight accommodations in Prince George. You will also be responsible for your Northern Thunderbird Air flight to Fort Grahame (approximately $600).
