Authentic Spanish Main Gauche, circa about 1600-1650 with approx. 16-3/4" blade 21-1/2" overall and 11" across quilons. The gauche retains its original wrap on handle and the pommel nut has not been disturbed. Conditionis good to very good with normal staining and aging, slight pitting. The blade is nicely made and tapered with spear type point. Almost 1" across widest part of blade. Real and authentic daggers of this period areincreasingly rare. Est.;$1,500-$3,000.
