Also known as the "Lincoln Murder Model", measuring a mere 5 1/4 inches from muzzle to butt, the "Peanut" style pistol was the smallest offered by Derringer's firm. German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with ''DERINGER/PHILADELA'' and a zig-zag flanked "P" on the silver banded breech. The Derringer address is repeated on the lock plate, with engraving on the lock, hammer, tang, bolster, and furniture, which is German silver. Attractively finished stock, with a German silver tip insert, silver left escutcheon, pineapple trigger guard finial and a checkered birds head butt with teardrop shaped plate.

Condition: Very good, with a mixed gray patina on the metal, tool marks on either side of the barrel, and scattered pitting. The stock is also very good, with a few mild cracks, semi-professionally replaced left barrel wedge escutcheon, and scattered dents. Mechanically good.
