This revolver was manufactured in 1880 and subsequently custom engraved by D.W. Harris of Granbury, Texas. David W. Harris still engraves with a hammer and chisel today and learned the cattle brand engraving style from Wheldon Bledsoe who in turn learned from Cole Agee. This revolver has nearly full coverage of New York style floral scroll engraving with gold highlighted portraits of Buffalo Bill on the left side of the recoil shield, Doc Holiday on the left of the barrel and Wild Bill Hickock on the right side of the barrel. The top of the ejector housing has a zigzag design in the shape of hearts, an intertwined rope design on the top strap, shell design on the recoil shield and top of the back strap, and a decorative simple line design on the back strap. The revolver retains the standard markings as well as "P/C" on the underside of the barrel. Fitted with a smooth one-piece ivory grip.
