Armalite Model AR-17, 12 gauge semiautomatic shotgun made from lightweight alloy with composite plastic type stock. The receiver shows scroll decoration. The shotgun has a ventilated rib and screw off compensator at the end of the barrel. The barrel measures 25 ½” with removable choked attached. ArmaLite was originally of located in Costa Mesa California and was instrumental in the design of the M16. We believe this to be one of a number of prototypes Little John’s sold for the estate of the inventor approximately 20 to 25 years ago but no documentation included. These AR-17s were space age when designed in the 1960’s.The condition is fine to near excellent. Est.: $400-$800
