This is an example of an Argentine contract Government Model manufactured between 1914 and 1948 to supply the Argentine Government with .45 caliber semi-automatic pistols. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address/1897-1913 patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt and the right side is marked with the Argentine crest and "EJERCITO ARGENTINO. / COLT CAL. 45 MOD. 1927" and "7328", and the right side of the frame is marked "7328". The top rear of the slide is marked "No 7328" and the matching serial number is stamped on the top of the barrel chamber. Checkered trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and arched mainspring housing, lanyard loop on the frame heel, unmarked two tone magazine and fitted with checkered plastic grips.

Condition: Professionally restored to near mint condition. The magazine has also been restored and remains very good. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings on the left panel and overall very crisp checkering. All markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
