Antique traveling bar set containing four hand blown decanters with one sipping glass concealed in lid possibly for liquor salesman or lonely alcoholic. The four bottles retain their original stoppers and show light gold decoration and are matching along with matching sipping glass. The case is in the Empire style with rounded top and would date to the early 19th century. The case measures approximately 9 ¼” in height by 7 ½” in width. Exterior of the case is veneered hardwood possibly mahogany and in very good condition for its age just slightly warped and not closing. From the estate of Jim and Janet Arness with receipt stating that this bar set was presented to them as a wedding gift from the director of “Gunsmoke” and hand signed by Janet Arness.
