Antique clip point knife by I. Nichols with leather sheath, approx. 13-1/2” overall with an 8-1/2” blade marked “I. Nichols, Xlent Cutlery on ricasso and displaying a beautiful fully visible etching on the blade with sentiment “My Bosom Friend” in the middle of the artwork. The knife is in overall very good condition with a grey patina and some evidence of light cleaning on the back side of the blade but nothing serious; simple cross guard and disc pommel cap, stag grip that are all also in very good condition. The sheath is good overall with metal tip and throat and a re-enforced lower seam. Ex-George Taylor collection. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
