Antique European cane gun with 6 shot 5.5 mm, DA pepperbox type revolver with folding trigger and attached spike type dagger. The revolver shows an “H” and star proof and is circa about 1870-1880’s. The metals surfaces show 50% nickel with some pitting and erosion but generally good. The tip of the dagger has been blunted. The grip of the cane is yellowed stag and of large proportion. The cane portion shows anengraved metal throat with slot to accept trigger. The wood portion of the cane shows tip has been reduced slightly, the mechanism on the revolver is revolving but out of time and does not lock. From an old New Yorkcollectors estate.
