Antique Belgian Brevete folding trigger percussion revolver, .40 cal., 6-3/4” barrel marked on the top flat “Colt” and “Sir William McBride”, engraved frame and cylinder, blue and case hardened finish,ivory grips. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing approx. 80% original blue on the barrel and cylinder with a pleasing grey patina on the frame; some areas of pin prick pitting on the right sideof the barrel; considerable muted case colors on the rammer; crisp action, fine engraving, overall good bore, fine mellow ivory grips. This gun shows features of the Colt Paterson revolver and would be interesting to furtherresearch given the barrel markings; accompanied by a modern wood case; from an old collection. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
