An east Indian tulwar with an elaborate silver inlayed handle. Blade is a single edge with a sharpened back edge near the tip and is made of a folded steel pattern weld. Original leather covered scabbard with a chased silver tip and apierced and chased throat. 18th-19th century. Good condition, some losses to silver on handle, one crack on pommel and minor dents on silver scabbard mounts. Measures 38” overall. Est.: $800-$900.
