(Disney/ Winkler Pictures, 1925) A film reel of “Alice Gets Stung,” the last short in the Alice Comedies series, directed by Walt Disney and animated by Ub Iwerks. In her last appearance as Alice, Disney Legend Virginia Davis goes on an animated bear hunt that ends inside a barrel of angry bees. The 16mm reel is a copy made between the 1950s and 1970s, and belonged to Davis. Measuring 7.25" in the original film can, the reel is in very good condition with light scuffing, label residue, dents, and edge wear to the can.
