For your consideration is this 1900-1930s Amphora-Werke Riessner ceramic vase made in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia (Tmovany, Czechoslovakia). The company was in business from 1892 to approximately 1945, after which time it was nationalized and the name was changed several times. The vase shows a professional crafted ceramic design with bright and colorful Art Nouveau designs throughout. Typically, the pieces from this pottery style display extremely high levels of craftsmanship with their superb and often very detailed decor in the Art Nouveau style. On the base of the main handle are two professionally crafted woman's faces with bright blue eyes and striking red lip stick. On top of the handle is a smaller bowl. The piece shows good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of obvious damage. The piece measures a height of 9 3/4" and a circumference of 20 1/2".
