American percussion single-shot “boot” pistol, type identified to Blunt & Syms, but unsigned. Serial #700. The pistol measures 6-3/4” overall with 3-1/4” barrel of approx. .31 caliber smoothbore. The pistol shows agrey patina with scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting. The grips are good, generally good overall. Made 1830’s to 40’s and made very similar in style to pepperboxes of the pioneer era. Est: $300 -600
