American percussion dueling/target pistol by H. F. Stronecker..52 caliber smoothbore, 10-1/8” heavy octagon barrel measuring 1” across the flats of the muzzle. 15-1/2” overall. Half stocked with plain walnut stock, nicely checkered at grip, rounded iron guard with set trigger. Lightly scroll engraved lock, bolster, and tang. The barrel shows a light patina finish, some light to moderate erosion and pitting. The edges of the barrel show some marks, the edges have gone to brown with light case hardening. The stock is good with many small scratches, some dings, mars, normal use, fairly sharp checkering and good overall. The action is good. A very big pistol that shows a German silver barrel key, escutcheons, and forend cap. From the William R. Orbelo Collection. Est: $1,500 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
