American made full stock Kentucky style rifle circa about 1820-30s with barrel marked underneath “J. Worly”. The rifle shows a “Partridge” marked lock. The rifle measures 57” overall with 41” barrel of approximately .44 caliber rifled. Themetal surfaces show a gray to brown patina finish with light to moderate scattered erosion and pitting. The stocks have been cleaned and lightly sanded with some areas of repair covered by a dark stain. The lock is in its original flintlockconfiguration with a replacement frizzen spring and screw along with hammer screw, top jaw screw, with some other screws also modern and replaced.
