American ''Marquis of Lorne'' Single Action ''Saturday Night Special'' Spur Trigger Cartridge Pocket Pistol, NVSN, .32 RF cal., 2-3/8'' round barrel, 5-shot fluted cylinder, lightly engraved in floral, crosshatch and ''squiggle'' patterns on frame, cylinder and barrel sides. Originally finished in full nickel plate, with varnished two-piece rosewood grips. One of the many trade names for these inexpensive, but useful and functional, small pocket revolvers that proliferated between the 1870s and the early 1900s. Condition is very good showing most original nickel plate that is dulling on barrel, on frame ahead of barrel and on grip straps. Grips are very good and retain most of their original varnish. Action is smooth, bore is very good with visible rifling. Est.: $175-$375. (Antique)
