American “Kentucky” flintlock rifle signed “H. Ledford”. .41 caliber, 40-1/2” rifled barrel, 55-1/2” overall. Full stocked, with fancy eagle-top patchbox that is nicely engraved and pierced with silver inset panels. Also silver and ivory inlay in cheek piece, plain brass mounts. The gun shows a good quality reconversion to flint, with some cleaning and rebrowning of the metal surfaces. The stock is good with light refinishing with small repairs and restorations, and some loss of wood around the rear of breech behind hammer and some well-done replacement of wood around the lock and other small wood restorations. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
