American Eagle head officers sword circa about 1830 showing 30” curved blade and 35 ½” overall with period associated steel scabbard with brass mounts. The Eagle head shows a cast Federal Eagle at the center ofthe guard with stars above it. The bone grip is shows a crack small losses. The hilt shows a heavy patina. The scabbard is rusting and been with the sword a long time but is slightly oversized. Overall fair to goodcondition. Est.: $250 -$500.
