Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Size 7.5 Navajo sterling ring is a beautiful inlay made with turquoise, spiny oyster, and outlined by mother-of-pearl, jet and/or onyx. Inlay measures 22 mm x 10 mm the overall setting measures 25 mm x 14 mm and weighs 12 grams. The ring is signed Alvin Yellowhorse and marked sterling.
