Here is an item you won’t find on any other auction program, anywhere in the world – and opportunity to run a working Alberta trap line with perhaps the best trapper in North America, world renowned expert on wolf trapping, Gordy Klassen! Gordy Klassen only offers one opportunity per year for another “trapper” to accompany him on his trap line. As a special favor to the Northeast Michigan Chapter, Gordy has agreed to take the successful bidder on this item along with him as he runs his trap line. This is not a hunt! Successful bidder will not determine which species will be trapped! Bidder will accompany Gordy on his trap line and will work the line with Gordy as it comes. The successful bidder will learn the trapping lifestyle from the best there is and will likely help to harvest martin, beaver, wolf and coyote. Trapper must be in good physical condition as this is a demanding, rugged, winter adventure. This item also includes a number of extras for the successful bidder including Gordy’s wolf management course and the Alberta Trapper Education Course. Accommodations during this adventure will be a trapper’s cabin. Transportation during the experience will be snow machine, quad and/or foot travel. This trap line experience is scheduled for January 2013 and may not be deferred. The experience will begin and end at Grand Prairie, Alberta.
