BC Cock. One of Kenny Rhodes' secrets to his success is the bloodline of 7217 from Fred Smeltzer. "JP" as he is known, has been the foundation for several very successful flyers across the country. JP is named after John Price, a true champion flyer. His foundation cock, "822" is a direct son of 7217. After visiting John I was fortunate enough to get an inbred son of 822, when he was mated to his own daughter. This cock, "876" is an absolute gem of a breeder. Some of my best racers every year come from this cock. In order to keep this family alive, I visited Kenny Rhodes, owner of 7217, and after selecting birds to buy, a little hen caught my eye. I was done buying birds that day, but Kenny caught "44" and without knowing her background, I agreed she would have to go home with me - she was that perfect. Turns out, 44 is a direct daughter to 7217 when he was mated to Kenny's foundation racer and breeder "1809" who is a daughter of 720 x 928. Can it get any better? This inbred 7217 family is worth three times the final price that someone will pay in this auction - or I'll eat my hat!!!
