The bands on Karl's birds read "CU 10 Apollo XXX" and this cock, Apollo, is the grandfather of the dam of 347. I bought the dam to 347 right out of Karl's breeding loft, and consider her a gift, as that doesn't happen to just anyone. The sire to 347 is "166" an inbred Meuleman from Tim Kirschner. The foundation of Tim's family of Meulemans are four birds, all brothers and sisters from one pair of imports. 3133, 3134, The Schalkwijk Hen and The Pied Schaly Cock. This sire, 166, is a direct son of 3134 when mated back to his own daughter. Two old school families brought together to create 347 - and he's a beauty.
