AMAZING SPIDERMAN COMIC BOOK #96 - THE INFAMOUS DRUG RELATED ISSUE! Up for auction is a definite treat for any Spiderman or overall comic fan or even a fan of pulp culture. We are offering up for auction, Marvel Comic's 1971 issue #96 from the Amazing Spiderman line. This is the first part of the anti-drug theme that ran through issues 96 to 98. It was obviously very controversial at its time because it dealt with the issue of drugs in a comic book format. The Comics Code Authority (CCA) refused to put their seal of approval on the book. However, Marvel Comics with Stan Lee who believed so much in telling the anti-drug story published it anyways. This comic played a big role in diminishing the CCA's authority in the comic book world. Some would even say in the anti-censorship movement!!! This comic has been bagged and boarded. This is a first print copy.

1. Purchases can be paid by cash, approved cheque, credit card by PayPal or PayPal.

If the Auctioneer determines that any bid that is not commensurate with the value of the article offered, he may reject the same and withdraw the item from the auction, and having acknowledged an opening bid, he decides that an advance is not sufficient, he may reject the advance. 4. Ownership title passes upon the fall of the Auctioneer's gavel, and thereafter the property is at risk of the Buyer and neither the Seller, nor the Auctioneer shall be responsible for loss or damage. Any items left at the sale site are left there at the purchasers risk. The Auctioneer assumes no responsibility for abandoned items. If items are left for pickup, they must be paid for, in full, on the day of the sale.
