A large Caucasian Qaddara sword. This type of sword is found from northern Iran up into the trans-caucasus. Two piece kindjal type horn handle with iron mounts. A long, multi fullered blade with gold inlayed writing and struck with amaker’s mark. 19th century. Good condition with minor wear overall. Missing a piece of the scabbard on the back and some of its fabric covering. Measures approx. 32”. Est.: $350-$450.
