A double-bladed Sudanese dagger known as a haladie. These were commonly used by the Samaniyya Sufis of Sudan. A symmetrical bone grip with curved double edged bladescoming out of either side. The blades are acid etched with Arabic inscriptions from the Koran. Mid-late 19th century. Good condition. Measures 23”. Est.: $200-$300.
