A Qing dynasty Manchu composite bow with two arrows. Made from layers of wood, horn and sinew these bows were incredibly strong. This bow has a dark horn inner face and red painted birch bark outer face. This bow is more highly decoratedthan most with shagreen inlayed panels. Comes with two iron tipped arrows. Late 18th-early 19th century. Worn overall, parts of painted surface missing, fletchings on arrows missing. One tip missing from knock onwards. Measures 45” long.Arrows measure 36”. Est.: $400-$500.
