A Qing dynasty Manchu composite bow. Made from layers of wood, horn and sinew these bows were incredibly strong. This bow has a dark horn inner face and has a tiger stripe painted birch bark outer face. Late 18th-early19th century. Worn overall, cracks to horn and parts of painted surface missing. One tip missing from knock on. Measures 63”. Est.: $400-$500.
