, featuring a center sunburst in a field of alternating rows of red, blue, pale green, and beige colours, with floral motifs, interspersed with stars, lyres, fans, crosses, etc., made by Wm. Ney of Meyerstown, Lebannon County, Pa., circa 1850. Condition: extra fine, shows some wear. Note: J.M. Jacquard, French, 1752-1834, inventor of the loom with endless belt of cords punched with holed, arranged to produce a figured weave, adapted by American weavers early/mid 19th. C. (Webster's)
