(Disneyland, 1954) A concept painting by Herb Ryman for Walt's never-realized molecule fountain entrance to Tomorrowland. Walt envisioned a structure of a protein molecule because it is"symbolic of the staff of life for man." The only remnants of Walt's idea are a few impressionistic and beautiful concepts painted by Herb Ryman, including this one. Measuring 12" x 15" visible in a 21.5" x 24.5" frame, the mixed-media artwork is in fine condition, signed by the artist. This came from the Walt Disney Imagineering Art Library and maintains its original tag on the reverse. The frame is in very good condition with light scuffing and scratches.
