(Bluth, 1980s) An original color key concept painting from "Little Blue Whale," an unfinished film by legendary animator Don Bluth. Described as an "underwater Bambi," the film was a collaboration between Bluth and acclaimed "Chinatown" screenwriter Robert Towne. As the development process dragged on and time passed, the project was eventually shelved, leaving this artwork as a rare glimpse of what could have been. Measuring 4.75" x 7", the painting is in good condition with scratches, wear, and a pinhole from production use.
