INCLUDING 2 VINTAGE ANTIQUE BOWS, VIOLIN-UKES, HARPS, SLIDE TREMOLOS FROM THE MARX COLONY FACTORY IN TROY, MICHIGAN, USA. MADE OF WOOD AND METAL, THEY VARY IN LENGTH FROM ABOUT 21 TO 34 INCHES. THESE WERE EARLY WOOD & METAL DESIGN MODELS, NONE OF WHICH WERE EVER PRODUCED IN THESE EXACT CONFIGURATIONS. MARX INSTRUMENTS WERE STRUCK, BOWED AND/OR PLUCKED FRETLESS ZITHERS INVENTED BY HENRY CHARLES MARX (1875-1946). THEY WERE MOSTLY SOLD DOOR-TO-DOOR BY TRAVELING SALESMEN.
