8/9/2001 Barry Bonds Autographed Home Run #543 Bat (JSA) (PSA/DNA)
The most prolific home run hitter of his generation and certainly the most controversial, Barry Bonds is a hands-down first-ballot Hall of Famer. Holding the single season home run record at 73, Bonds is currently behind only Hank Aaron for the all-time title. A three-time MVP, in 1996 he became only the fourth member of the 300 home run / 300 stolen base club, and two years later became the only 400/400 player in history. Manuf: SAM, Model: 2K1, Length: 34 in, Weight: 32.1 oz, Wood: Maple, Condition: Uncracked. The model number is stamped into the barrel face. Several prominent ball and hit marks all around the barrel. Blue ball transfer marks on the bottom barrel. There is 14" of white tape in a criss-cross pattern on the handle. The weight and length are on the top of the barrel in black marker. There is an autograph and "8-9-01 #543" inscription on the right barrel in silver marker rating a 7 to 8. The inscription is not in Bonds' hand. There is a light coat of pine tar on the barrel. Overall: OUTSTANDING-PSA/DNA GRADED 10. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA and a LOA from JSA.
