.54 caliber Hawken style plains rifle by Western Arms Co of Santa Fe, NM showing Jebdia Smith commemoration, 1799-1831. With tang marked “965 of 1000”. The rifle measures 49-1/2” overall with 32-1/8” heavy octagonbarrel. Shows double-barrel keys, double-set triggers, iron scroll guard, buck horn and blade sights, brown and case hardening finish in fine to excellent condition overall. Very authentically styled.
