410ga over/under shotgun by Franz Sodia of Ferlach, Austria, made for Kerrs of Beverly Hills, CA and so addressed on rib. Serial #0457. The gun shows classic European styling with 26” barrel, ventilated rib, choked Improved Modified over Full. Single trigger, auto ejector, split forend, checkered select light walnut stock with European pistol grip, horn grip cap, thin rubber recoil pad. The action is nicely engraved with scroll and game scenes. The barrels show 90-95% toning original blue. The frame shows its original French grey finish with just slight discoloration. The triggerguard show 95% original blue, the stocks are fine to near excellent. The action is tight, the bores also fine to excellent. The stock measures 13-3/8” to the end of the wood, 14” to the end of the hard-rubber recoil pad. Kerrs of Beverly Hills handled the finest of American and European arms from the 1950’s to 1970’s and catered to movie stars and high-end sportsmen. From the Robert Petersen Collection.
