.410 gauge double barrel SxS shotgun marked 4160 on the rib with box lock action, automatic ejectors, English style straight stock, Belgian proofed, serial numbered 611 on trigger guard. The barrels measure 281/16” and the gun is 44 and nearly¾ inches in length. The arm is choked cylinder right and extra full left. The stock measures 14 ½ inches to the end of the checkered wood butt. The barrels retain approximately 75% to 85%original blue and the frame shows 40% to 60% case hardening naturally toning and aging with a small amount of scattered erosion and pitting on the barrels and frame. The box lock action shows a removable bottom platewhich retains most of its blue. The gun is proofed only with Belgian proofs of the smokeless era and shows 2 ¾” chambers with very good bores that may clean to excellent. The gun locks tight and there’s no mechanical problems. The stock has had some light sanding and stripping on the butt stock and needs a coat of finish. The forend shows a light refinishing and is good. A very attractive and light .410 with long barrels
