3 CLASSIC 1960'S C&R SINGLE SHOT PISTOLS.
ALL: Cal. 22 LR. Black finish. Available in 1960's and classified as C&R's. 1) SAVAGE MODEL 101. S# 45777. Bbl. 5 1/2" including "cylinder" having blade sight plus drift adjustable rear on frame. Mfg. 1960-1968 with appearance of single action revolver yet "cylinder" is attached to barrel and swings out to the right allowing loading. Simulated wood grips of plastic having Savage Indian head logos. Single action with rebounding hammer. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent including bore and grips; appears new. (23-1507/NW). 2) SHERIDAN KNOCABOUT. S# 07586. Bbl. is 5" tip up configuration with blade sight plus fixed notch at rear. Mfg. 1953-1960 with appearance of semi-auto pocket pistol. Checkered brown plastic grips with "S" logos. Hammer block safety lever at top left rear of frame. Rounded spur hammer. Barrel release latch at front of trigger guard. CONDITION: good to very good overall appearance with high edge finish loss along with light cleaned oxidation spots. Near excellent bore and grips. (23-1508/NW). 3) MENDOZA MODEL K-62. S# 196P. Bbl. 5 1/2" with blade sight plus windage adjustable rear. Mfg. 1960's in Mexico and commonly sold by mail order up to time of 1968 GCA. Other barrel lengths offered were 4 5/8", 6 1/2" and 8 inches. Based on rolling block action. Has 3 cartridge holders on each side of the frame. Black plastic grips and alloy frame. Similar variant offered that propelled 177 pellets via 22 blank.
