2015 American Paint Horse Foundation Sale

Auction Details

Floyd and Maryann Moore of 6J Paint Horses in Huntsville, Texas have donated two 2-year-old colts to the American Paint Horse Foundation. Proceeds from the auction of these colts will go into the APHF’s scholarship fund to aid Paint Horse youth in their quest for higher education.

These colts are both great grandsons of 2015 APHA Hall of Fame inductee, Delta Flyer. Delta Flyer’s accolades include winning the 1986 NCHA Super Stakes Open and finishing as a semi-finalist at the1985 NCHA Futurity. He was the only paint with both sire & dam in the NCHA Hall of Fame, the first of three Paints to win the NCHA Open Super Stakes Championship, and sire of the 2001 APHA Junior Cutting World Champion Alazulenas’s Flyer, and Reserve World Champion Flying Lassie.

The APHF Auction will be held during the 2015 APHA Open and Amateur World Championship Show in Fort Worth, Texas. It will begin on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 and end on November 15, 2015.

To allow all bidders a chance to bid on both horses, the auction for Smart Badger (Lot 1) will end on November 15 at 6:00 pm CST, and the auction for Cutters Flying Baby (Lot 2) will end at 6:10 pm CST.

Proceeds will be used to fund APHF scholarships for American Junior Paint Horse Association members.
