The book includes transcriptions of documents submitted to the House of Representatives by Abraham Lincoln, William Seward, and others. The book was published by the House of Representatives in the 37th Congress. CONDITION: the book appears to have all of its pages, although the binding is missing. Pages show no appreciable damage and are quite legible. 2) This book measures approx. 9” x 5 3/4". It is titled “The Case of the United States to be Laid Before the Tribunal of Arbitration to be Convened at Geneva.” The book was published in Washington by the Government Printing Office in 1872 at the behest of the Senate. The book addresses grievances of the United States, particularly against Great Britain, about the conduct of neutral nations toward the Confederacy during the American Civil War.
