First Year Ruger Old Army Percussion Single Action Revolver, #140-00759, .45 cal., 7.5'' barrel, blue finish, smooth wood grips with Ruger ''silver eagle'' medallions, fixed blade front sight, with fully adjustable square notched rear sight. Included is the two-piece Ruger box that is hand numbered to the gun, with warranty card, and Ruger nipple wrench. Mfg'd 1972. Approx. 98% original finish remains and revolver rates as excellent overall. Right side of barrel with minor finish wear and a few small scratches, cylinder with only a light index line. Factory lettering is clear and crisp. Grips with a few small handling marks with a nice even color and finish. Sides of the hammer with some darkening (only visible when cocked). Crisp action; bright bore with excellent rifling. Box shows mostly moderate age and storage wear, firearm identification is clear, a lower corner on both the lid and bottom half each with a split corner; one has been repaired with household tape.
