19th century steel engraved print entitled Gettysburg – Repulse of Longstreet’s Assault, published by James Drummond Ball, Boston Mass. Marked right corner, Engraved by H. B. Hall Jr. Center titled Historically Arranged by John Bachelder. Left corner, Painted by James Walker. Top is marked Entered According to Act of Congress, 1876 by John B. Bachelder, in the officer of the Library of Congress, Washington. Measures approx. 21” by 41”, is in an antique oak frame. The print is in good condition, there is some scratching in the glass, and some minor fading and slight acid burns from the paper. Generally very good plus. Many of these prints were offered at special rates to GAR veterans. Est: $350 - $700
