19th century printed veteran’s record for Richard L. Place, inscribed in pen with soldier’s history in the 127th regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry, showing service at Ft. Wagner, South Carolina, CharlestonHarbor, and other engagements. A picture of the Easel monument, presented by Richard L. Place to his wife Mary and son Frederich, May 30th, 1896. The printed background depicts this monument. The print measures 32” byapprox. 24” and is in an old wood frame, possibly original to the period. The artwork and printed areas are in good condition with just some slight normal aging and some minor spots at the edges. Est: $350 - $700
