19th century folding bowie with German silver mounts, stag grips, approx. 10-1/4” blade, 15-1/4” overall. Includes original scabbard. The blade is a clipped semi-spearpoint measuring approx. ¾” across its widest part. Blade in good condition showing some scratching, discoloration, normal aging, but nearly its full dimensions with stag grips. German silver mounts show some nicks and mars. Generally very good overall. The scabbard is fair to good with some losses, tatters, normal age and deterioration. Just the type of knife favored by frontiersman and buffalo hunters.
