19th century finely etched shield in 16th-century style showing figures of Eagle and Phoenix or Dragon surrounded by scroll. The etching is good quality and the shield shows a nice patina and probably French made. The shield measures 22” across the center. Very attractive and decorative. Est.: $2,250 -$4,500.
